The MFI location in Lenox produces primarily pre-cooked egg patties.

Responsibilities:

Summary:
Position is responsible for the preparation and packaging of product in the precooked area.
This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value.
Ensures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability.
JOB
Responsibilities:
Inspects product coming out of ovens for proper size, shape, color and weight to ensure specifications are met.
Realign products prior to entering the freezer to ensure the product coming out frozen is of a flat, smooth, uniform shape.
Inspect product prior to robot to sort out any product damages throughout the freezing process, or otherwise not conforming to company and customer set standards.
Sanitation duties as necessary.
Add filling to products requiring it.
Fold omelets or squares.
Count patties and add the proper number to each case.
Assembly of boxes and insertion of bags.
Assume personal responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for everyone.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and incorporate safety and healthy in all jobs and tasks.
Adhere to Quality work practices, follow all GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained.
Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety and quality.
Ensure regulatory compliance at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
Less than high school education.
Experience:
No prior experience or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.
Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.
